The Wurlitzer Winamp skin is available free with the purchase of the Winamp program and is a very easy to use interface. Most of the controls can be accessed by clicking on them and in some cases, the volume control can be dragged with the mouse to adjust the volume according to your need. The Winamp skins are available as a download so you don't have to go through the hassle of actually buying the skin, it's also very easy to install and remove. To install the Winamp skin, first you will have to have Winamp installed and ready to go.
If you want to install the Winamp skin then open up the Winamp settings by clicking on Winamp icon in the system tray or if you want to start a new session then press Winamp shortcut on your desktop. Next, double click on the "skin" button, which should open a window with all the required options for installation. Click on the download button next to the skin you want and the Winamp skin will be downloaded onto your hard drive. When you are done downloading, you should now be able to install the skin and make your Winamp experience a lot better. To install the Winamp skin, you can either go to the installation files provided on the download page or use the Winamp skins installer program. This software program can be found in your Winamp install folder. After the program is installed you can then double click on the skin to start installing the skin.
Once installed, you will notice that the Winamp skin has been placed right on top of your Windows desktop, allowing you to use Winamp from anywhere you like. To uninstall the Winamp skin, first you should delete the file that is downloaded by the skin installation process. Then, double click on the Winamp skin to uninstall it. It's also possible to remove the skin using the "Add-Remove Programs" feature on your system, this works very well. However, this is not recommended as there may be some hidden files and settings on your system that may still be affecting your Winamp performance if the skin has not been removed.
